Aadesh opened up his big, clammy paws to recount what he had gained today. Some bread.. 3 eggs. Two beer bottles, already empty. And.. A complimentary mint and toothpick.
Aadesh looked up from his claws and let out a loud, frustrated groan.. Which, of course, was translated as a violent gesture coming from a large bear's mouth. The ursine lowered his head and glanced around as he watched a group of young elf girls squeal and dash away from him. Ruffled, Aadesh merely snorted and continued mindlessly walking down the street, as if someone needed him.
Of course not. Jobs were rare, and he left his family- on his own accord, though. He wanted this, so now he had it.
And did he like it? Not very much. Aadesh slid his free toothpick in between his teeth and clenched it, barely keeping it in tact.

Kyrian was leaning up against a house. Obviously, not his house, completely ignoring the glowers from the house owner as he sprayed water over his plants. His eyes followed children as they walked, trying to locate one that wasn't in a group. His eyes found Aadesh and he shuddered slightly, not ever imagining a confrontation with the large bear. If he tried to steal something from that beast he was sure to have his face removed with one quick smack upside it. Still trying to keep the innocent boy act, he nodded at the Anthropomorph with a small smile and focused his eyes on two boys far off playing with what he imagined were marbles or small coins. it was hard to see from this far.

Aadesh was idlely glancing around as he noticed the lone boy resting. He had smiled and gave a polite nod. How much of a rare treat that was.. It came enough as a surprise to him that he only stared back and made an indifferent growl.
The bearman did not get far from Kyrian before he stopped walking and stood blankly in place, letting people usher around him. His size made him a large road block, but he didn't care. He was just so bored. He sighed and itched under his neck unconciously.
Aadesh noticed the teenager from before and followed his gaze to the two human children. He grunted, knowing he couldn't get near these kind of younglings since he was a cub. But what did he care? He had nothing of value talking to them. And, if he assumed correctly, they wouldn't care much either.

Kyrian watched the bear once again. He seemed so out of place and distracting. Anthropomorphs weren't rare sights around here, but he was just so big, it was hard for Kyrian to focus on his actual plan. The bear stopped, and Kyrian continued to watch, not really sure what the creature's plan was. Maybe he was crazy. That was certainly a bad combo with pounds of muscle the boy was sure he was covered with. Something about the creature seemed off. Part of Kyrian wanted to investigate this, but there was also the terrifying apperance the other had that the boy wasn't sure he really wanted to approach so he remained where he was, not bothered to stare elsewhere.

Aadesh parted his jaw, belting a loud yawn. The kids were yelling and shouting, throwing a coin or something around.. Not very interesting, or productive. One day they would work, but for now.. They were just little nuisances to everyone. Aadesh sighed, taking note of his crabbiness. The bed in his rented room was equivalent to a rock.
The bear glanced back at the boy, their gazes suddenly locked together. Looking back at the children and to Kyrian, he wondered why he had lost interest of the kids.. Aadesh suspected that he was a thief of some sort. There was no reason to stand around on this street, and he was avoiding as much attention as possible. Aadesh had been in Volyzn long enough to recognize these kind of people. The bear stepped closer to him without thinking, his brain trying to ignitiate something- anything- that could distract from idleness. Giving the boy some reaction time (knowing most people needed it when you were a bear) , Aadesh spoke. “Were you trying to rob the kids?” The bear stared, calmly, wondering what he would answer with. Kyrian's reaction resembled very much a snail sucking back into its shell when a large creature made contact with it. He jumped back, or, failed to jump back and instead ended up rubbing roughly against the side of the house he had claimed for a resting place. When he realized the bear wasn't gonna come closer for now, he tried to regain his dignity.
He only had a second to shuffle back into a comfortable position again before he was asked the question. Taken aback slightly at the bluntness of it, he hesistated and stuttered random starts to sentences that he didn't finish. "Well- Of course I'm- You know, I'm- Those kids." He sighed, hating his lack of lying skills before stating very bluntly, "No."
